Bear Grylls Adventure is a visitor attraction aimed at testing guests’ limits across a series of mental and physical challenges. We were asked to create an immersive application demonstrating the activities on offer at BGA, for Merlin Entertainments. We created an experience which managed customer expectations, teased what was in store, boosted public awareness and increased ticket sales.
I was in charge of creative assets. I produced illustrative graphics that mirrored the rugged cartoonish style of the 360 image as well as developing all iconography and design assets. I edited hours of footage taken from the park into videos, both for social channels and the site itself. Finally, I aided in the on going creative development of the product - A/B testing new features such as quiz functions and adding emoji reaction images.
Results saw a 45% increase in return on ad spend, cost per click was halved and the click through rate doubled.
